How Does All Access Equipment Handle Extensions?


There are a variety of boom lift extensions available , here are various options available. If you have further questions our customer support team is always available to help!

Telescopic boom extension: The handle extension has a series of nested tubes that can be extended and retracted to reach varying heights. Mostly used in a situation where a precise positioning of the platform is required.

Articulating boom extension: An articulating boom extension features a series of joints that can be bent to allow the platform to reach up and over obstacles, examples include buildings or trees. Mostly used in situations where access to hard-to-reach areas is necessary.

Straight boom extension: This extension is ridgid and can be attached to the end of the boom for additional reach. Again, mostly used in situations where a simple extension of the boom is all that's needed.

Jib extension: A jib is a special type of extension, usually referred to as an attachment, that is attached to the end of the boom to provide a secondary arm which can reach around obstacles or difficult places. Sought after where flexibility is important.
