Dispatch Coordinator

$20 /hr  DOE

Seeking experienced Dispatch Coordinators to add to our team in the Orange County area. As a dispatcher, you will ensure that all our drivers and equipment are strategically managed for optimal efficiency. You will plan accordingly to where job sites are, how long a project needs our equipment, and how they are going to get there.

Job Requirements:

High School diploma
2 years prior dispatch experience helpful.
Construction or heavy equipment knowledge a plus.
Computer literate, and ability to learn new software.
Detail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.
Strong oral and written communication.
Geographical knowledge of the area is required.
Willing to take leadership, but also work as a team.
Be available to work Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40-50 hours per week. Work some weekends and after hours as needed. 

Essential Job Duties:

Answer phone calls regarding orders.
Assist customers and team members with rental orders in a timely manner.
Gather information from sales, service, accounting for orders.
Coordinate timeline and equipment with drivers.
Route drivers efficiently.
Have knowledge of driver policies, procedures and duties to ensure that driver duties are completed as required.
Able to work around a constantly adjusting schedule and priorities.
Utilize (POR) Point of Rental System to organize the different orders.
